Greetings from the Grace Church Brooklyn Heights Rector Search Committee! We are pleased and honored that you have sought us out.
As you’ll learn when you read our Parish Profile and peruse our website, Grace is a congregation with a 170-year history, a vibrant life today and a genuine desire to grow, and grow stronger, as we move into the future serving God and our neighbors.
We are now seeking the 15th Rector for Grace Church. And although transition is a challenging time for any parish, at Grace we’ve learned that it also affords many opportunities for new ideas, greater understanding, deepened fellowship and enhanced spirituality. Moving through this period of transition, we continue to pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit as we prepare to extend the call to a new Rector for our busy urban congregation.
To learn more about Grace Church, please familiarize yourself with our Parish Profile, and learn more about the position of Rector in our Position Description. Be sure to read the “New Rector” section of the Parish Profile on pages 18–19.
Regular updates on the Rector Search process can be found in our weekly “Grace Notes” newsletter
