Grace Church Mission Statement and Core Values
The people of Grace Church Brooklyn Heights, guided by the Episcopal faith tradition and inspired by the prayers of generations in our historic church, seek to bring our lives and our community into unity with God by growing in faith, creating an inclusive community, serving with compassion, and working for social justice.
Dear Grace Church Family,
It is with great pleasure that I introduce this new Mission Statement and Core Values for Grace Church Brooklyn Heights.
These Core Values exemplify who we are and how we see ourselves in and beyond this community of Grace. These Values are the things we hold dear and are the foundation of our faith and character. They are who we are and what we aspire to be.
This work has been prayerful and deliberate in coming together. As a congregation, you have shared your thoughts about what you love and want to see at Grace, as well as the gifts that each and every one of you bring to this beautiful house of worship.
Please click or tap here to listen to a presentation, narrated by Allison Scott and created by members of our Core Values working group. My appreciation goes to them for their dedication to articulating these Values and the Mission Statement that holds them. And my eternal gratitude goes always to you, the people of Grace, who live these Values every day.
Blessings,
The Rev. Dr. Allen F. Robinson
Rector
