Special Conversation: Human Rights and Refugees and Ukraine

As a part of our consciousness-raising and information gathering about what is happening to our sisters and brothers in Ukraine and other war-torn regions, William G. O’Neill will lead a conversation in the North Room this Sunday, May 15th after the 11 am service.  William is an expert in international law specializing in humanitarian, human rights and refugee law. He was Senior Advisor on Human Rights in the UN Mission in Kosovo, Chief of the UN Human Rights Field Operation in Rwanda and led the Legal Department of the UN/OAS Mission in Haiti.  He has testified before both US houses of Congress on human rights, refugees and humanitarian emergencies.
